Winter Programs 2008
Gardening for the Environment
Sunday - April 13, 2008
1:30-3:00 p.m.
Instructor: Pam Musk
Director of Centers and Education, Audubon NY

This program will give you tips and techniques for creating and maintaining a garden that is environmentally friendly. Topics such as water use, pesticides, invasive plant species and more will be covered as you learn how to create a garden that has a low impact on the environment and attracts birds, butterflies and other wildlife for your enjoyment. Take home information will suggest specific plants that both attract wildlife and are visually appealing. You are then invited to get hands on experience by joining other volunteers at Kaler’s Pond Audubon Center to create the garden there.

All programs will be held at the
Center Moriches Library
